Bluetongue Auctions Terms & Conditions

Please read carefully

• Buyer must complete registration prior to bidding. A credit card is required to complete registration. Your credit card will be charged with your purchases only after payment has not been received in a timely fashion. Surcharge applies.
• Pick up is the day following the auction between 12 and 3pm and the Saturday following the auction between 12 and 3pm. If you cannot pick up at these times please contact Bluetongue Auctions. We encourage prompt payment via bank transfer after which your goods will be held for you. Any goods not paid for within the three day timeframe may be forfeit to the underbidder. 
• A buyer’s premium of 15.5% applies to every sale.
• All bids are a commitment to buy. Subject to any reserve price, the highest bidder shall be the purchaser.
• The highest bidder for each lot shall be the buyer except where the reserve price has not been met. If any dispute arises the dispute will be determined at the discretion of Bluetongue Auctions. In the case of the reserve not being met the highest bid will be put forward to the vendor for approval.
• GST - Where applicable, the buyer shall pay GST on any lot indicated.
• Lots can be picked up Day following the Auction between 12PM and 3PM and the following Saturday between 12PM and 3PM, unless otherwise organised with Bluetongue Auctions. A storage fee may be charged for late collections.
• Refund policy: it is the responsibility of the buyer to inspect all goods prior to purchase. Bluetongue Auctions will endeavour to photograph and describe all products as accurately as possible. Items described as AF (meaning All Faults) will not be perfect and it is the buyers responsibility to be aware of that. It is up to the discretion of Bluetongue Auctions to make the decision regarding any discrepancies.
•  The buyer is wholly responsible for any damage to property or injury to persons during the pick-up/removal of purchased goods, including injuries or damage caused by their agents or employees.
• Despite efforts to avoid the withdrawal of an item/lot from the sale, post listing, it may occasionally be necessary. Bluetongue Auctions reserves the right to reject any and all bids in their sole discretion.
